Genuine Cisco CP-PWR-CUBE-3

The Cisco CP-PWR-CUBE-3 provides AC power to the Cisco 7900 series VoIP phones. Cisco does not bundle power supplies with their phones because they are often powered through the Ethernet cable via power over Ethernet. Those who do not have access to power over Ethernet will require a traditional external power supply to use the phone. The CP-PWR-CUBE-3 is the third generation of power supply from Cisco. It replaced the "CP-PWR-CUBE-2" and first generation "CP-PWR-CUBE" in 2005 as the standard power supply for all Cisco corded phones. The CP-PWR-CUBE-3 is almost identical in appearance to the earlier versions except for the color of the plastic tip around the power plug that is inserted into the back of the phone. On the earlier versions the tip is yellow in color, on the CUBE-3 it is black.

The CP-PWR-CUBE-3 is a universal power supply and is compatible with virtually every phone Cisco makes except for the wireless versions (CP-792x) and some older  conference phones (CP-7935/36). The first and second generation are not compatible with the newer versions of the 7900 series phones which is why the CUBE-3 is recommended.

The CP-PWR-CUBE-3 is a power brick form factor, similar but *aller than most lap* power supplies. The brick has dimensions of 2 x 4 x 1 inches and weighs approximay 0.25 lbs.

Please note: For some reason Cisco is does not consistently require Delta Electronics to place the Cisco Systems logo on the CP-PWR-CUBE-3. Cisco outsources the production of the CP-PWR-CUBE-3 to Delta Electronics, sometimes they arrive to us from Cisco distribution with Cisco logos and sometimes they do not. Obviously this is beyond our control. If you receive a CP-PWR-CUBE-3 from us and it does not have a Cisco logo, please refer to the Cisco part number located on the label. It will be referenced by "Cisco P/N:". If you have any questions or concerns regarding the placement of the Cisco logo on these power supplies please contact us before ordering this item. Thank you!
